Gayle Drummond was born in Zimbabwe in 1969 and graduated from Edinburgh College of Art in 1992 in Tapestry. However it is as a painter that she is most well known having exhibited in the R.S.A. R.S.W. and other mixed shows. She has work in collection in Australia, Canada, France, Israel, South Africa, U.S.A., Zimbabwe and United Kingdom. Later this year she is to take up the post of Artist in Residence at Blackpool Zoo
