Frames Gallery was established in 1979 in Perth, Scotland with the intention to promote contemporary Scottish art.  In 1991 we moved into our current premises and, in 1997, added a large extension to this space to double the available exhibition space, making our gallery one of the most spacious commercial galleries in Scotland. 

Picture Framing
Alongside the gallery we have a very well established picture framing workshop which specialises in producing hand-finished frames for artists.  This includes gilding and working with gold, silver and metal leaf.  Our picture framing specialists have over 30 years experience and have developed many unique gilding techniques which allow for an almost infinite variety of finishes.  Please see our picture framing link on the left for more information.
