Lin Patullo was born in Glasgow in 1949 and brought up in Prestwick on the Ayrshire coast. She started a career in nursing while pursuing her interest and enthusiasm for painting and drawing and now that her family is grown up, concentrates on painting full-time. She had her first solo exhibition in the Kelly Gallery in 1990 and since then has been a regular exhibitor at the Royal Glasgow Institute of Fine Art as well as the Royal Scottish Academy and the Scottish Society of Artists.
